Our powerful engagement and moderation solutions build active, civil and loyal communities for our partners, driving higher registration and subscription rates. From our platform, we gather and analyze rich first-party data, which our partners then use to gain valuable insights into their audience’s behaviours and preferences, allowing brands to create targeted content and advertising strategies. On a monthly basis, over 650 million users interact with our solutions, and visit over 2 billion pages across our network. This is a remote position available only to candidates from the Americas. We will expand our scope to global candidates in the near future.

Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for identifying and bringing forward relevant research and insights to help shape business decisions, product fit and market drivers. For this role, you need to be a creative and quantitative thinker with a thirst for knowledge and the ability to work with various owned data as well as public
and competitive intelligence.  You like to explore and tease out the golden nuggets that will allow Viafoura to reach its growth ambition. Specifically:

  • As the Product Marketing Manager, you own the story we tell our customers, partners, and prospects. 
  • By working at the intersection of product, growth and customers, you help to continuously enhance Viafoura’s solution by understanding market conditions and client needs.
  • Your  focus will include delivering effective persona descriptions with associated pain points, value prop, and a Viafoura POV (Point of View)
  • You will also work with product management and our executive team to define and articulate how the Viafoura platform and our solutions deliver against our mission, and drive impact across our go-to-market and delivery channels.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and build growth loops - sharing appropriate and insightful information
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, sales and customer success to identify gaps and influence product development through well-defined market requirements
  • Enable the marketing, sales and customer success teams to effectively communicate with prospects and customers by ensuring all messaging in materials such as our website, sales decks, campaign assets, etc. are effective as resonate with our targeted markets
 
Requirements
  • You hold a bachelor's degree and have 8+ years of product marketing experience
  • Experience in the publishing industry (is a plus)
  •  You are great at supporting sales and customer success teams by teaching them how to best to communicate value proposition. 
  • You take an analytical approach to identifying new opportunities by understanding customer needs and evaluating where we can add additional value
  • You are a collaborator who is willing to roll up your sleeves but also a thought leader who can create a strategy
  • Proven experience in research/insights role      
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Creativity
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
